Attendance / Race start
Simgrid attendance is key. If you don’t sign off we expect you to be there on time.
We start at 20:00 CET/CEST (Depending what period we’re in) with qualifying. 20 minutes (+ finishing a lap, incl time limit. 2 minutes), 10 minutes break, 1 hour race. (LMU has a variation in the ruling on simgrid)
PS. The way how this is done can be different from game by game but they always come down to that. Incase a game doesn’t allowed a 10 minute break, we find a way and information can be found / be requested at the organizer.
PS2. Sometimes with IRL race events, for example F1 we can change the time to fit the real life event with our simrace. This will be discussed before start to see if everyone can start a little later.
During racing
Discord voice is NOT required. But is adviced to join. It can speed things up a lot more than just sending texts. Examples are: helping out on setup of the game, notifications or just some talk while overtaking under blue / communication for certain flags. It’s not meant to trashtalk or tell people to move out of the way because you’re in general faster while not having a blue flag.
Championships
During championships car swaps can be done to keep it fun for everyone. This will cost you 40 championship points per swap. If you dont have the points we will not substract past 0.
Stewarding
Stewarding is not done live. But can be reviewed after and penalties will be handed out how we see fit.
Minor incidents can happen, like slight contacts. Thats racing in general and is not worth reporting.
Intentional wrecking is reported to SimGrid and instant DSQ from the race, doing i repeatingly will result in a championship DSQ.
If you force someone off-track and you know its your fault, let the one you forced off-track rejoin in front of you. Failure to do so is upto the driver forced off-track to report. We will investigate and act accordingly after the race.
Liveries
Offensive liveries are banned. If we see one during race its an instant ban from the race. You will be able to rejoin the next event with a suitable livery. We in general look at the general with the signup. It can be we don’t see the offensive directly, but if found we will send a DM for a change. Spotted an offensive livery? DM Kadar or any other admin / mod.
Custom liveries are allowed aslong as they comply with the rule above here. Your livery is locked, you can’t change it because you wanted a different color or design.
